29 Jun Fountainhead Walkathon 2018 Report
The annual walkathon for this year was completed successfully on February 24. The route is more accessible than in previous years. Participants had good sharing along the way. After arriving at the destination, the president and co-workers shared the development and needs of the ministry and led the people to pray together. We then returned for lunch together and continued to have fellowship. A total of HK$379,250 was raised. Thank you to all the brothers and sisters who participated, sponsored and prayed, and walked together with our hearts united to witness the grace of the Lord!
Fountainhead walkathons originated in 2006. At first, only the directors, co-workers, their families, and volunteers participated, and later extended to church groups and brothers and sisters who care about and support our co-workers. The number of participants has also increased from an initial 30 to more than 120 recently.
Fountainhead’s co-workers shared updates of their ministries in different areas with the participants and prayed together. We are very grateful that the participants not only supported by prayer, but also raised funds for the ministry so that they can be used to further the ministry, and more people who lacked will be helped.
The planning group for walkathon made every effort to plan walking routes suitable for all ages every year. Thanks be to our Father’s provision, protection, and care; every walkathon could be successfully finished. May all praise and glory be to our heavenly Father God!
