Preparing for the opening of the child care centre, we took a few day conducting home visits in the mountainous area to understand more about the school-age children and their families.
One day, we went to a village far from the town. When we got off, we saw a little girl standing by the door alone from afar without the slightest smile on his face. Shouldn't children at this age attending school? Why is she standing here all by herself?

My name is Eileen. I am 14 years old. When I was 9 years old, my grandmother sent me to the Home of Fountainhead. My parents died when I was very young, so long ago that I can hardly remember their faces. I guessed it was before I started schooling. My grandmother and I lived in a small village house. Life was hard for us at that time for my grandmother was getting old and always sick. We had very little income to support our daily living. I was too young and I couldn’t do anything of help.
