04 May Fountainhead Walkathon 2017 report
This year’s Walkathon (The 12th annual event) was completed successfully on February 4, 2017. That is the eighth day of the Chinese New Year. Although this year’s route was more challenging than last year’s and walking time was also a little longer, our brothers and sisters did not deter but joined with full support. Thank God, the weather was great on the day so that participants hiked along with the breeze. Happily sharing and chatting, we completed the trip without noticing it. During the walk, we prepared two small stops. The participants listened to the sharing of our co-workers and prayed together during the rests. Thank God that He granted our body, mind, and soul with health, joy, and satisfaction.
A total of 121 participants participated this year and raised HK $ 316,840 for the operation and expenses of Fountainhead Association. Thanks to the brothers and sisters who attended, sponsored and interceded.
We are glad that the participants enjoyed the whole process of the Walkathon. We look forward to having more participation from brothers and sisters and churches, to walk with us with a united heart!
